BASIC MAINTENANCE WELDER (420h)
DESCRIPTION:
Perform basic operations of joining carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium sheets and profiles using electric arc welding installations with coated electrodes and electrode under protective gas MIG/MAG; as well as metal cutting works using manual oxy-cutting and plasma arc installations. We also repair breaks in pieces of bronze, aluminium, cast iron, etc. In all cases, applying technical construction specifications and criteria of quality, safety and respect for the environment.

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS:
- To be registered as a job seeker or improvement of occupation at the SOC Employment Office and to have the occupation demand in high status the day before joining the course.
- Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education (E.S.O) or equivalent.
- When the person applying for the course does not accredit the indicated academic level, he/she will demonstrate sufficient knowledge by means of an access test.
- Professional experience in the sector is not required.
- Participants may be called for an interview and/or test if necessary.
